MRA appliance (Mandibular Repositioning Appliance)

An MRA appliance (Mandibular Repositioning Appliance) is a custom-made device used to treat snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. The appliance is worn during sleep and gently positions the lower jaw slightly forward. This helps keep the airway open, reducing snoring and improving breathing during sleep.

At PC2 Tandartsen, MRA appliances are fully measured and manufactured within the practice to ensure an optimal fit and maximum comfort. The treatment is supervised by Peter Gits, who is accredited in sleep medicine. When necessary, we collaborate with general practitioners and sleep clinics to ensure careful diagnosis and treatment.
